Hi my main char is called Deadlytouch on teon srv, i started like 2 weeks ago on the oficial around X-mas, i used to play l2 some long time ago on private servers. I was a player of WoW untill 1 year ago when i got too bored to play I don't have too much time for playing just a few hours / day , because i am working. All i want to do is to have one good char with nice gear that can solo and make lots of adena on it's own, and i would like to take part in some siege/ RB if possible ...

Don't buy any Eq from players, as long you don't have enough money to equip your whole character :p without to get poor^^!!!
You can get D- and C-Grade rly cheap in (for example) Giran (Common-Items).
I've bought an Elven Long Sword for 70k and a Brigadine-Set for ~20-30k!!!
Well these common-items have 2-3 disadvantages, for expample they have no effects. But its a nice idea for newbies on retail
